About me
                             Jose L. Walteros   
                              is an Assistant Professor in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the  University
                              at Buffalo . He holds a Ph.D. in  Industrial and Systems Engineering  from the  University
                              of Florida. His research interests focus on theory, methodology, and algorithms in the areas of
                              combinatorial optimization, multilevel programming, graph theory, and network flows. Dr. Walteros’
                              research has been funded by NSF, ONR, and NPS, among others. Previously, he served as
                              the President of the INFORMS Junior Faculty Interest Group and the Vice Chair for
                              Network Optimization in the INFORMS Optimization Society (IOS). His papers have appeared in
                              the journals Operations Research, Mathematical Programming, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Networks, and others
